Fitting and tyre pressure
Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified fitter, and make sure the rotation arrow on the sidewall points in the direction of travel. Fit a new inner tube of the matching size and check that the rim tape covers every spoke nipple. Set the pressure cold to the figure in your bike’s owner’s manual or on the chain guard or swingarm sticker, and check it regularly. New tyres have a smooth surface, so ride gently for the first 100 to 150 km while the tread scrubs in.

Is this a tubeless or tube-type tyre?
This is a tube-type (TT) tyre. It must be used with an inner tube of the matching size, and spoked rims need a rim tape. It is not designed to run without a tube.
How do I read the size 100/90-19?
100 is the tread width in millimetres, 90 is the aspect ratio (the sidewall height is 90% of the width), the dash separates the profile from the rim size, and it fits a 19-inch rim. The 57S after the size is the load index 57 (230 kg per tyre) and speed rating S (up to 180 km/h).
Is this a front or rear tyre?
This size is a front tyre. Front and rear tyres have different profiles and construction, so fit it on the front wheel only and pair it with a matching rear.
