Helmet care
A clean, correctly stored helmet lasts longer and stays safer. This is care guidance — not a substitute for ECE certification checks when you buy.
After every ride
- Wipe the shell with mild soapy water; avoid solvents on painted finishes.
- Air the liner; remove cheek pads if the maker allows machine-washable liners.
- Dry Pinlock inserts away from direct sun.
Storage
Keep the helmet off the floor, out of UV, and never hanging by the D-rings on a mirror for months. Replace after a crash or when the EPS feels crushed.
