What we collect
When you buy, request a quote, or create an account, we collect the details you give us: your name, email, phone number, delivery address, the bike you are fitting, and the parts you ask about. Orders also include what you bought and the payment reference from the payment provider. We do not store your full card number on this website.
The site also stores technical information needed to run the shop, such as a cookie that keeps your cart, and the usual server log of the page you requested.
Why we use it
- To quote, sell and deliver motorcycle parts.
- To confirm fitment and answer a support question.
- To keep a record of the sale for tax and warranty purposes.
- To stop spam and fraud on forms and comments.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who else sees it
We share only what a courier, payment provider or email service needs to complete that job. If you pay online, the payment provider processes the payment under its own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
Order and quote records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, warranties and disputes. You can ask us to delete an account or a quote request when we are no longer required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@bikesense.co.za. You can also complain to the Information Regulator if you believe we have not handled your information properly.
Cookies
The shop uses cookies so your cart, login and checkout work. If you block cookies, adding a part to the cart may fail.
