Bike care basics

A clean, lubed bike is nicer to ride, and cleaning it is the easiest way to spot wear early.

What to look for

  • Chain cleaner first, then chain lube, if your bike has a chain
  • A bike wash and a soft microfibre cloth
  • Engine oil in the grade your bike needs. We’ll match it for you.
