The Metzeler Cruisetec is a touring tyre. Choose your size above: 5 front sizes and 3 rear sizes for 16, 17, 18 and 19-inch rims. All sizes are tubeless (TL).

Which size do I need?
Check the size printed on the sidewall of your current tyre or in your owner’s manual, and keep the same or a higher load index and speed rating. Front and rear tyres have different profiles, so fit each tyre on the wheel it’s made for. Not sure? Use Shop Your Ride, or WhatsApp 079 231 2573 with your bike’s make, model and year.
Fitting and tyre pressure
Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified fitter, and make sure the rotation arrow on the sidewall points in the direction of travel. On tubeless rims, fit a new tubeless valve with every tyre change. Set the pressure cold to the figure in your bike’s owner’s manual or on the chain guard or swingarm sticker, and check it regularly. New tyres have a smooth surface, so ride gently for the first 100 to 150 km while the tread scrubs in.
Frequently asked questions
Is it tubeless or tube-type?
Every size is a tubeless (TL) tyre. On a tubeless rim it seals against the rim bead, so no inner tube is needed. Fit a new tubeless valve when you replace the tyre. On spoked rims that are not tubeless, run it with an inner tube of the correct size.
How do I read a size such as MT90B16?
MT90 is an alphanumeric width and profile code (an older sizing system still used on cruisers), B means bias-belted construction, and 16 is the rim diameter in inches. The 72H after the size is the load index 72 (355 kg per tyre) and speed rating H (up to 210 km/h).
