Fitting and tyre pressure

Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified fitter, and make sure the rotation arrow on the sidewall points in the direction of travel. Fit a new inner tube of the matching size and check that the rim tape covers every spoke nipple. Set the pressure cold to the figure in your bike’s owner’s manual or on the chain guard or swingarm sticker, and check it regularly.
