Which tyres does it fit?

Match the tube to the tyre size printed on the sidewall: the rim diameter must be the same and the tyre width must fall inside the tube’s range. Use a tube with a tube-type (TT) tyre, or in a tubeless tyre fitted to a spoked rim that is not sealed.

Fitting tips

Fit a new rim tape that covers every spoke nipple, dust the tube lightly with talc, inflate it slightly before fitting so it does not twist, and make sure the valve sits straight in the rim hole. Set the tyre pressure cold to the figure in your owner’s manual.

What is a TR6 valve?

TR6 is a straight metal valve with a locking nut, common on off-road and larger motorcycle tubes. Check that it fits the valve hole in your rim.

Can I use an inner tube in a tubeless tyre?

Yes. A tubeless tyre on a spoked rim that is not sealed needs an inner tube of the correct size. On a sealed tubeless rim, a tube is usually only a get-you-home repair.

How do I choose the right tube size?

Read the size on your tyre sidewall. The tube must match the rim diameter (the last number, for example 17 or 18) and cover the tyre width shown first.
